Cafes, Bars and Restaurants within a short walk
My personal favourite, visited as recently as July 21, 2026. This Michelin listed restaurant offers excellently crafted dishes and a relaxed-yet-sophistiated interior and vibe. I'd describe it as modern-European/Asian fusion, and with a la carte and tasting menu options, together with an excellent 'wine bible' and cocktail list, this restaurant is a book-early choice if you're looking for something a bit more special than the good mainstream options in the village.
The Blue Groove
Stream-side popular eatery with large outside covered terrace, serving board menu with locally caught fish specials
The clue is in the name for this famous and lively 17th Century thatched inn. Traditional pub food and regular live music for the surf community
Chilled vibe pub with large outdoor area and a menu packed with pizzas, nachos and similar fayre
Stylish 'neighbourhood kitchen' open all day
16th Century former coaching inn with cosy bar areas and dedicated restaurant with a great menu, well-known for Sunday roasts. Excellent outdoor kids' play area, too.
Simple back-door pizza and cocktail hangout
Great spot for breakfast or simple lunches, enjoying superb sea views and a sauna available for use!
